GDPR Compliance
Who controls the data
Clevedon.me is operated by The Nerd Herd. GDPR and privacy requests should be sent to moo@tnh.org.uk.
Your data rights
Under UK GDPR, individuals may have rights to be informed, access personal data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing, request portability, and avoid solely automated decisions. Some rights are not absolute and depend on the circumstances.
What Clevedon.me stores
The service normally stores only information submitted for accounts, listings, events, jobs, ownership claims, edits, support requests and email/site provisioning. Public listings may contain business names, descriptions, logos, public phone numbers, websites and keywords deliberately submitted for publication.
Exporting your data
Signed-in users can use GDPR / My Data to download or email a JSON export of account-linked data. If you cannot sign in, email us from the address used for the account or listing so we can verify the request.
Correction, removal and ownership
Listing owners can request edits or removal through their account. Changes do not go live until an admin approves them. You can also email us to request correction, removal, restriction or ownership review.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed to operate the directory, handle approvals, prevent abuse, maintain audit records, provide requested services and meet reasonable legal or operational requirements.
Processors and third-party services
Clevedon.me may depend on hosting, email, DNS, Git deployment, analytics-free server logs and BARN administration tooling. We do not sell personal data or run behavioural advertising on the public site.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your data rights have not been handled correctly.
